JD18P

Propulsion

Next Generation Marine Engine
410 - 599 kW (550 - up to 803 hp)

Features

Provides more flexible injection timing and higher efficiency. Rear gear train and HPCR reduces noise by up to 3 decibels.

Excellent airflow through 4-valve cylinder head delivers greater low-speed torque and better transient response time.

Integrated components eliminate external hoses and fittings. Wet exhaust manifold creates a cooler and quieter environment for passengers and crew.

Cooler turbocharger operation enables higher ratings and efficiencies for applications that require high power or speed.
Jacket water cooling system with separate circuit to assure salt water can't enter the combustion system.

Provides durability and eliminates valve lash maintenance.

Longer service intervals with use of John Deere oil. Rigid bronze impeller on sea water pump with up to 10 000-hour life before needing maintenance.

Remote monitoring and diagnostics comes standard. Provides protection and efficiency with no subscription fees or ongoing expenses.
